7/7/2017 0 Comments The Cycles of ChangeChange. Change can be very stressful at times. We are constantly in a state of change if we realize it or not. If we are consciously requesting change, we go through many cycles of manifesting that change. There are several things that are commonly requested to change throughout our lifetime. We request more money, better jobs, bring love into our lives, change of family situations, to resolve problems, to change our health status, or to change the way we look. The list really goes on and on. Some like to focus their change requests for a greater good, like world peace, food for all or awareness of some kind.
When we want to change to happen, we wish or pray for it and we put it out to the Universe. If we trust and believe that it will happen, then it will grow and it will manifest itself; however there are many times when it does not happen as quickly as we would like it to. Quite often, some give up on the trust and then start to disbelieve and think that it will not happen. Trusting in the change that you request is a huge part of the process. If you can put your change request out to the Universe and trust that it will come to pass and let it go then it will start to grow in it’s own time and manner. It's like the seasons. In the spring you plant the seed of the change that you want. You wait a little bit of time and then the seed starts to grow deep roots, although you don't see the change happening quite yet but eventually you do start to see signs that it started the cycle. It had to lay its foundation before it started to show itself. Then you move to the next season where you start to see a flourish of growth of the change cycle. Eventually you see it come to pass where it's time to harvest and your request has been manifested. Sometimes we request a change to occur and it does not happen the way we want it to. When change does not happen how we are expecting or hoping, then Divine guidance is pushing it in a direction to help us grow or learn from the situation at hand. If we do not embrace that opportunity as a time of growth, we might miss the life lesson involved with that particular cycle of change. Other times we request change, we trust and believe it to happen, and when we start to see the signs of it coming about then our fear steps in, and we wonder do we really want this change? We asked for it and it's coming to pass but maybe we are afraid of the unknown of what this change is bringing or we are afraid of how it will happen. Change means there's something different, it is not the same as it was before, and coming out of our comfort zone is not always easy. When the fear steps in and we're not comfortable with the change then we put up the blocks. We fight it and we fight the flow. Then we question everything, did we really want this change after all? Is this really, really what I want? I want it, but I'm afraid because I don't know how it's going to work. We are often told not to worry about the how. The how works out if we just trust. If we can get past that period of fear and we can trust it to happen, allow it to happen and let flow naturally, then we are able to adjust to the change and all of a sudden life seems to get easier. Then we wonder why we were so worried about it in the first place. Occasionally we are put in a cycle of change and we had no control or request of it in the first place. Sometimes events happen and we are forced into a change if we wanted it or not. That can be very difficult, challenging and stressful, especially when you are forced into a change immediately. If this happens, try to step aside and just take a moment to see what is really truly happening. Look at the situation around you, maybe just maybe, you can deal with it a little bit easier. I believe that all things happen for a reason and if you are forced into a change that you were not prepared for, there is a reason for that. Most often the changes that I have been forced into have ended up to be huge blessings and life lessons. Of course I did not see that at the time because being forced into a change that you are not prepared for is very stressful and can be very challenging. But after that cycle of immediate change has passed and you have had time to reflect upon it, think about all the things that you learned from that experience. Think about the people that were involved. Think about where you were in life compared to where you are after the change. Think about all of the life lessons that you learned from it. Did you learn patience or peace? Did you learn love, respect or kindness? Did you drop your boundaries and help somebody that you not would not normally have helped? When we are forced into a change and it is a life lesson, I believe that is a gift from the Universe. Quite often you may experience grief, sadness, frustration, anger or confusion during sudden change that has been put upon you. Honor those feelings because experiencing those feelings is part of human nature; honor them but the flow the change continue. Change is hard if we request it or not, either way it can be a difficult time. We are always in a cycle of change and sometimes we don't even realize it. When we are in a cycle of change our energy shifts and we typically end up at a new place in our life. I know the times that I have been through energy shifts I have found myself in a much better place afterwards. I have gotten to the point to where I start to see huge cycles of change and I know that that means there is another huge energy shift and I am going to be led to a new direction or to a new place in my life. Plus, there are times when you pray for change, and while you wait for that to occur, another change is put upon is, but it has no direct correlation to the change you requested. Or does it? Maybe the change that was put upon you is driving you toward the change you requested. That also happened to me recently. I requested a change, while I was in the waiting phase, a huge different change was thrust upon me. While I was dealing with this new change I realized it was driving me to the change I had requested in the first place. Once I realized that, it helped things move along. Sometimes we feel like we are overwhelmed with so many constant changes, and we would just like a period with no change. That's far and few between isn't it? Of course I also believe that we came to this life to experience many things and change brings more experiences. Next time when you feel like you are in a cycle of change, try to remember to look at everything around you, see what's happening, and try and let it happen. If you find yourself in an immediate change you did not request, try and find the life lesson out of it and blessings from it and see where it takes you. Change is necessary to grow, evolve, expand and to live. Try not to fear the unknown of the changes that you request; let them flow; let them grow into what you want and trust that it is happening the way it should. Change is necessary, change is good. The cycle of change is the cycle of life.
