Part of the lessons learned is the journey getting there

We are impatient beings. We always want what we want right now. It is programmed into us to get things now, get answers now, get there now.  We have many lessons to learn during our time here on Earth.  Sometimes we are in the middle of lessons that we don't even realize it is a life lesson until later. But when we do realize that we are in the middle of a life lesson, we should take the time to stop and reflect on where we have come from, and where it is we need to go. Of course we want the lesson to be finished so we can move  on, but part of the lesson itself is the journey of the lesson. If we were given the opportunity to jump from one lesson to the next without really learning from it, what good would it do? Of course we can get frustrated and angry that the lesson has not passed or come to a conclusion but that is part of the learning process as well. If we just had everything we needed or wanted without the transition phase, we would not get the deeper meaning and we would not appreciate the details in the learning. There are so many details in the lessons we are to learn and once we go through the process we will have mastered that lesson and have a deeper understanding as to why we had to go through what we did to get there. So when you feel stuck or frustrated with a situation you are in, take a look around you. See what has unfolded to that point. See what you have learned to that point. Would it had made sense if you skipped those steps in the greater picture?

I could not agree more. They say life is a journey. I can look back at my life and see how one step led me to another. I can also see life lessons not learned do come back until you understand it fully.
